Wow, its over and I’ll miss it, but I’ll be there next year. Saturday was fun, the gang got together and Discipline Monkey Studios made their presence known to the crowds. Maybe you were one of the lucky ones to get a free bumper sticker?
I also hit the Hasbro Transformers panel, and got a peak at what they have in store for us. I didn’t post pictures, simply because they are rather poor quality due to the lighting in the room and the distance and other factors. I’m looking forward to the 25th anniversary line, which includes Optimus Prime re-issue, a new retool of Hound with Ravage, Targetmaster Cyclonus and others. Lots of nice Universe figures coming, but you probably knew that already.
Other than that I most walked the floor and picked a few more goods and such. I’ll get pictures later, got to go back to work today! YaY!.
Oh and what was it I saw that night....hmm. Oh yeah, Wolverine and the X-men. This as close as we are gonna get to what we have in the 90’s X-men cartoon. Yes, its a cartoon. Animation is close to what we see in Spectacular spider-man. Story seems to be great. I saw the first three episodes. I like it. Xavier is basically out of the picture(mostly) and Wolverine and Beast must bring the X-men back together, which Logan leading the group. Scott doesn’t like it, of course.
Sunday, more walking, some shopping and the Smallville panel. And I’m got two words, maybe more. Doomsday and Tessa come into play. Lex is out for now. Clark starts to think about alternate identity and he gets a job. Hmm, hope I didn’t say too much. Looks like a good long season is coming.
