Occasionally, I like to take a peak at the trailers for upcoming movies. What I am going to do is on a randomly unselected schedule provide some insight as to whether they should be good or not. In some scenarios I may simply say yay or nay, but hey on other sunny days I provide more verbiage. This first batch may be a bit long, so please bare with me.
Evangelion 2.0 is just around the corner and while the trailer doesn’t inspire me to want to watch this animated film, I suspect it will be good. The animation is excellent, but what about story and voice acting? This is one that I am unsure, but I am curious and so I will probably end up watching it.
Next we have The Resident, which has a good idea-but the trailer fails to grab me. I’ll pass on this one, maybe a rental after the theater run.
The Vanishing just seems too over the top and somewhat familiar, curiosity will probably drag me to this one-but I don’t expect much.
Paul. I am definitely going to watch Paul. This looks to be hilarious!
Hanna is intriguing and looks to be full of action, but I worry that it’ll stop there.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides looks to be more of what we got in the previous films, but I also get a darker more mature undertones throughout this trailer. I’ll watch it.
Fast Five is either going to bomb or it’s going to rock. I’m leaning towards rock, simply because it appears that all the pieces are coming together nicely.
SuckerPunch looks amazing and yet seems so farfetched. I’m betting this will be an awesome film.
The Mechanic will most likely be good and yet more of the same. I’ll watch it.
Rango is one of those films that’s hard to figure. Probably be an ok film.
The trailer for Thor gets me excited. This looks to be epic.
Cedar Rapids will have some good laughs for the adults, but it’s really just going to be another Hangover.
Hugh Jackman is starring in Real Steal. It’s a movie version of Rock em Sock em Robots. And frankly, it does not look very appealing.
I think Rio will be a good family film with a few good laughs for all ages.
The Beaver is looking like it will be a very well polished film. I think it will be enjoyable.
Transformers: Dark of The Moon is a movie I can not wait for. I think it will blow us away!
And that’s the first batch. Stay tuned for the future! And of course some trailer reviews sometime between now and the future.
