the payne of the temple of predictions

I’m back and it seems like it’s been a long time, but I must admit it’s been rough at work being the only sales person on the floor and often getting some much needed overtime. However, I’ve also been doing a lot of work with the studio, Disciplined Monkey Studios, and a new segment that I started that deals with stupid people. I simple tell you the stories of apparently real stories of some really dumb people. And my colleagues at the studio, Erick, Jorge, and Cara all respond as I tell the story, they hear it for the first time too. We have two episodes up on the site, audio format. I may post them here as well. Haven’t decided yet.
In other news, I saw Max Payne and I really enjoyed it. I must say that it makes me want to go out and play the game again. The movie is very much on par with the game including all those nifty effects, like bullet time and the acid trip. It’s a good movie, go watch it.
Speaking of movies, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I got the collectors set at Bestbuy, which came with a mini statue of the skull. It’s made really well. And the week or so prior I got the collectors edition of Iron, also featuring a mini statue. I enjoyed these two movies, although the inter-dimensional beings were a bit of stretch for Indy! Today, I bought the 3 disc set of the Incredible Hulk from Target. It features a special case of the Hulk pulling through a wall. I will provide more details once I get a chance to watch Hulk and the special features on the other two as well. I saw all three in theaters, but there is something special about watching them at home too.
Finally, how good are you at predicting? I’m not half bad, or so it would seem. A website called Predictify is reward us for making a correct prediction. Now what’s interesting is that they actually pay you if your right, on some but not all questions. I started trying the service, which is free, around January 2008(this year), at this moment I am $10 shy of having made $100 simply by visiting their site every so often and ‘predicting’ a few questions that have a pot(money to those that are correct), its a guessing game that pays. Try it out.
