Apple’s iPad, no it’s not a…

This past Wednesday Apple introduced to the world, the iPad. No its a not a prefab home built by Apple, although I’m sure that would sell, too! The iPad is a large 9.7in LED and more powerful version of the iPhone. It features a solid state drive at 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB. WiFi and optionally 3G connectivity. At it’s core is a processor and graphics chip that Apple has interestingly called A4, I suspect this is because Apple believes it to be about as powerful as paper. It’s clockspeed is 1GHz which makes this an ample competitor to the netbooks on the market. And being a 10 hour battery, I believe this is Apple’s netbook. Sure it’s touchscreen and a little more powerful, but it’s still designed to be a companion to your main computer- be it a Mac or a PC. I’m sure this supersized Newt will sell quite well, but alas I dont see a need for one my self.
What do you think?
