Blu-Ray takes a blow and google did what?

First just a quick note on the Google video DRM issue. Those that bought DRM videos from google can no longer play them as the service is cancelled. We live in a world of DRM, and its sad because it limits consumers. Apple wants to move away from DRM but the RIAA has the control, like the back door(mafia?) booze sellers during the period of prohibition. In either case, I can't really do much with taking back my control of video(dvds, that I buy), I can take control of my music. This is why I buy my music in CD format. Compact Disc, atleast for now, allows me to rip to my computer DRM free and transfer to any music player I want. The RIAA and the MPAA are the reason why they are not making as much money year by year. As a consumer I prefer to do business whith companies that trust me. Working retail, if I were to assume that every customer was gonna rip off the store, we would probably go out of business. That's my 2 cents.

Now on to HD DVD....
I personally think HD DVD is the better in the Hi Def format war. And HD-DVD just got a nice one-two punch against Blu-Ray with as Paramount and DreamWorks Animation announced that they will exclusively support HD DVD on a worldwide basis. So the Biggest movie of the Summer is gonna be on HD-DVD Exclusively. Yes, you guessed right, Transformers. And later this year Walmart is said to be joining on the HD-DVD side selling HD-DVD. This will be sweet. Personally, I have the HD-DVD player for the xbox 360 and am loving it.
