Two Poems for a new week

I've got two new poems for ya to enjoy.....

Running



Run, run away now
No matter what they say
I've got to get 'way

Everywhere I be looking
I can't stand to look no more
'Cause inside it just starts a war

So I turn my head 'round
Avert my eyes to save my mind
Why can't I just be blind?

I miss what I never had
My heart aches for what could be
Like a car wrapping 'round a tree

Just one girl
That’s who I'm waiting for
That's why I'm running out the door

Fly

I want to fly higher
I want to dance slower
And run faster
Dive deeper
Write more
Weep less
Laugh and laugh and laugh
See the world
Learn something new
Read forever and a day
Watch the stars fade
Help another stranger
Enjoy the quiet wind
Sleep in a little longer
Wake before the sun rises
live life to the fullest and enjoy it more
That’s what I want

But lets start by spending time with you
